British H0 gauge: Mehano for Jouef and Hornby H0 gauge Eurostar, noisy runner, a project please read

A Mehano for Jouef and Hornby H0 gauge Eurostar, noisy runner: suspect it has a split gear as it sounds like it has a split gear, one pantograph doesn't sit up correctly, in good used condition, no original box. Note this is the H0 1:87 scale version and not the later Hornby 00 scale 1:76 version.
